Bean Cobb handcuffs
These Bean Cobb handcuffs sold for $171.50 after 7 bids.
You can see how the indentation and arming buttons are only on one side of each cuff. These have a single long link so they may be a H & R version? I'm not certain.
These are a high quality Handcuff. They are rather small and tight fitting. Because the keyholes are so small and set on the outside of the cuffs, these are difficult for the wearer to unlock. Bean Cobb cuffs also have a rotating keyway which I will detail in another post.

And here we see the Towers Bean Pattern. These sold for $100. These are basically exactly the same as the previous Bean Cobb, down to the swivels and link, but the key is much different; it's a barrel key close to a standard modern handcuff key but with two bits. These only have keyholes on one side vs the Bean Cobb which can be unlocked from either side with the flat key.
Towers licensed the design and copied the cuffs but made their own lock/key. The Bean Cobb has a removable, serviceable lock while this version does not.
This pair above sold for $100. It didn't have a key. The nickel plating is almost perfect. This is the swivel/long link Bean Cobb. This photo shows the screws which hold the lock case in place. When the cuffs are unlocked, this screw can be removed and the lock case can be pressed out of the cuff body.
This MINT Towers Bean Pattern above sold for $300 with two keys. I believe this may have been the same pair that was sold a couple months prior with a buy it now price of something like $40. I almost bought it but I like Bean Cobbs with the double sided key hole more.
I have only one pair of Bean Cobb handcuffs, a nice plain steel version I got for $120 with 1 key in 2018.
They have a pretty great patina. I removed the lock cases to clean and adjust the clockwork like mechanism. The hold open function works better now, as do the armor buttons.
