Towers Double Lock Leg Irons
here is a nice set of Towers Double Lock Leg Irons. These are fairly commonly available in the collectors market but certainly collectable nonetheless.
These are a solid, heavy restraint with a wide range of adjustment, a short, stout chain, and a very secure double lock mechanism. Until modern tumbler locks made their way into high security restraints, these would have been one of the hardest restraints to pick or shim. This is due to the lock design, the tight tolerances, and the shape of the shackle being both round and curved.
These sold for $249.oo and came with a key.
