Bottlenecks, 50th Post!

 

This is a very good condition set of Marlin Daley bottleneck handcuffs on sale for $410 with one original key. These have the barrel swivel and clevises.

Here is another very good condition pair. These are on sale for $550 or best offer, with one original key. These have the barrel swivel and clevises.

The seller believed these to be Mattatucks due to the box. They are not, they are Marlin Bottlenecks. There are different versions or models, I believe, and then there is the Caveney model which is the same design with a screw key like a Darby. 

This pair of Marlin Daley Handcuffs have a bit of rust but they look serviceable. Unfortunately there is no key. They have the barrel swivel and clevises. But no key. The asking price is $299.95 or best offer.

This pair may actually be Caveney, but the seller says it's Marlin Daley. There are 3 bent links, no swivel, clevises and no key. In the photo the keyway looks damaged or blocked or something. The asking price is $390 with no key. 

I think this is a really nice design, but I don't have an example of these. What I would really like would be a pair of Marlin Daley leg irons. I think this design would work really well as a leg iron. I also think it would look great scaled up a little to leg iron dimension, much like the Tower leg iron. It's exceedingly rare though, and there is a somewhat increased demand for Marlin Daley restraints due to Marlin Firearms collectors who also want these.
