Clejuso Transport Restraints

Above, a Clejuso Darby Transport Restraint. Clejuso is a German company in Solingen, making high quality heavy duty steel restraints since 1944. Their factory was destroyed in the war. The company began in 1860 making swords and other edged weapons. 

This was listed as "Antique Froggat Hiat (sic) Style Adjustable Prisoner Transfer Leg and Handcuffs w/ Key" and sold for $305 May 5th, 2023 on eBay. 

I purchased this because I love Darby leg irons, and I already had a pair of the adjustable Darby leg irons from Clejuso, and I knew they are nice.  The connecting chain on this is relatively light weight, almost dainty feeling, and has a swivel of it's own, further preventing the chain from getting twisted. 

The numbers 43 and 45 are stamped inside the shackles.
