Victor Works Hamburg 8

These are a rare example of the Hamburg 8 folding handcuffs in aluminum. Victor Works was a competitor to KUB in the manufacturing of modern Darby restraints.
This is an interesting design which can be opened without the key by folding the cuff fully in half.

These sold for $171.16 buy it now (actually £125).

KUB also makes a Hamburg 8. Actual vintage Hamburg 8s are very, very rare. I have only seen one for sale online.

Edit: I've since seen two or three of the original Hamburg 8 handcuffs on eBay.

Both companies are located in Sialkot, Pakistan. KUB is much larger, but they have different niches. Victor Works is more of a police equipment supplier/ prison equipment workshop, while KUB produces premium modern models of a wide range of historical restraints for several different markets.

Victor Works also produced a copy of the modern Clejuso model 8 leg irons, a Bavarian leg irons with high security ABUS style lock, and several other designs.
