H & R Super Handcuffs

 

This is a pair of H and R Super Cuffs in good condition with the original box and paper. The cuffs themselves are not so rare but most don't have a box. Like most collectibles, restraints are also more valuable or more in demand by collectors if the original box is present. 

These sold for $152.50 after 27 bids. 

There is no key present in the photos, but the seller wrote:  "H. & R. Super Handcuffs Worcester Massachusetts, no. 123 ,1943. With the which key works."  And I can't tell for sure but it was likely meant to read "with the key which works." 

Regardless this is a key that does come on eBay once in a while. 

My pair of super cuffs is a little more worn, and has no box. I paid $105.45 for it in 2024, without a key. I have since obtained a key for it. 

This is a high quality pair of handcuffs used by the FBI in America. The Chinese copy is slightly lesser quality and has a similar shaped but entirely different key.

 

This is another pair, which has a very rare black finish. It looks like there is a small amount of surface rust on one cuff and one swing arm. I have never seen this before, personally. This set has a starting bid of $299 and has been relisted several times. It comes with two keys.
