Bean Prison or Patrolman Handcuffs

 This is a nice set of Bean handcuffs. As I've mentioned in a previous post, these two models are nearly identical; the best way to tell the difference is to weigh them, and even very wise collectors have admitted they are hard to differentiate. 

This pair comes with one original key. They sold for $182.50 with 3 bids. 

There is a single long link and twin swivelling clevises. These have four locking positions, and do not double lock. This design itself is a little on the smaller side but otherwise the fit and finish are excellent. 

I paid $215 for mine with two non original keys in 2022.
