MANY Vintage Transport Restraints

Above, this is a full restraint set with leg irons, waist chain, and handcuffs from the American Handcuff Company after they transitioned from the American Munitions Company. This model is the L-200 combination which uses a heavy straight link chain to connect L-100 leg irons with N-100 handcuffs on either side. I believe AHC produced their own padlocks which is seen to the top of the photo.

Current bid $305 with just over a day left in the auction.

UPDATE: sold for an amazing $426 after 24 bids. American Handcuff Company stuff seems to be fetching higher prices; these rare combinations particularly.

Above, this is an Auto Restraint combination from American Handcuff Company. This combination uses a pair of short chain leg irons connected by a 24" chain to a set of N-100 handcuffs. These are the radiused edge cuffs produced after AMC became AHC.

UPDATE: these sold for a whooping $350 after 31 bids. An excellent transport restraint combination.

Current bid is $28 with lots of time left. I expect these to go for at least $250.

Above, this is a vintage Darby transport restraint with a long lead chain. These are the alloy production cuffs which were marketed more towards civilian markets but they are also used in modern times in some geographic areas.
Note these have model 115 adjustable handcuffs and includes keys for each restraint.

UPDATE: these sold for $122.50 after 26 bids
Above, nice pile of chains.

Current bid $.99 I am guessing maybe $150

Above, this is another transport restraint combination with model 104 non adjustable Darby handcuffs connected by a long chain to a pair of Darby leg irons. Both handcuffs and shackles have a key.

UPDATE: these sold for $152.50 after 32 bids.

Above, same pair. Note the interesting end cap design. My black finish alloy Hiatt Darby leg irons have this same circular plug.
Below, the handcuffs on this same restraint have an unusual but more typical closure method.

Below, this is an earlier combination from American Munitions Company. These cuffs are stamped as compared to the latter radiused design from the AHC.
This is their Auto Restraint, a pair of leg irons with the chain shortened to about five inches connected by a 24" chain to a set of handcuffs.

Current bid is $.99 and I expect these will go for significantly less than the combination from the latter production run (AHC)

UPDATE: these sold for $177.50 after 25 bids. Good to see there is healthy interest in these.

Below, a rare Hiatt Darby spreader bar transport restraint combination. These are the alloy cuffs separated and mounted on O rings at the end of a 12" bar for the handcuffs and 16" bar for the shackles. These two bars are then connected with an approx 30" chain. This is a very restrictive device which makes movement difficult and awkward. While the idea is to increase security, the bar is in actuality not long enough to keep the hands from reaching the lock on the opposite cuff.
Current bid is $10.50 but I expect this to go for somewhere in the $250-350 range.

UPDATE: these sold for $187.50
