Tower's Detective Handcuffs x2

This is a very good condition set of Towers Detective Handcuffs. Also known as "Pinkerton" model as these lightweight restraints were favored by that agency. 

The bidding starts at $275 with one working key. This set looks like it's a polished plain steel finish.

Below, another set of Towers Detective Handcuffs in good condition with one working key, Buy It Now for $250 on eBay. These have a nickel plating which would shine nicely.

Above, close up detail of the unique "fingernail" shaped ratcheting notches on the shackle. 

The seller of the second pair listed them as "Union Hardware" but to my knowledge the Union Hardware cuffs used a single long link. Both these pairs have the three bent links, which should indicate they are from Tower (John Tower) prior to his merging with Union Hardware.
