Antique Dungeon Shackles

This is a one of a kind leather wrapped restraint with end cap style locks and a long chain. There is no known makers mark, but the seller indicates these are European made, perhaps from a Royal family. These are for sale on eBay with a price of $2,776.67 or best offer. They have been listed for around six months now.

Above, close up detail of the end cap locks and the chain channels. The cuffs closed together and the rectangular bracket slips over the channel, and the chain is then threaded through. The seller says that the chain pulls through very easily, as it was designed to do.
Above, view of the shackles with chain in place. You can see the chain stop on the right side cuff. The chain would then be fixed with a padlock. I imagine these would make a lot of chain noise as the end cap mechanism has some play in it by design.
Above, the makers mark stamped on the chain. I do not recognize this mark.  Also note the detail of the stitching on the leather.

Below, view of the unbelievably well preserved leather finish. This was done to prevent injury during long term use of these restraints. I've seen one or two leather wrapped antique irons where the leather has dry rotted away. This looks like it's been kept oiled and smooth. It's possible of course that they were rewrapped at some point in time by a skilled artesian.
They actually look pretty comfortable. At least more comfortable than the price tag, although these are certainly rare enough to warrent it.
