Transition period Hiatt transport combination and 104 handcuffs

This restraint combination is actually pretty interesting. The handcuffs are late production steel models while the leg irons are alloy production. Note the heavy twist link chain with its own swivel. The chain also has a nice patina going. 

This is listed at $160 or best offer. 

Above, the steel late model Hiatt Darby Handcuffs. I base that information on the less rounded edges and the key design, among other indications. 

Below, the leg irons have a steel key, which may not be original, although the alloy production of leg irons was said to have been used in official capacity at first, the heavy Darby construction making up for the comparably weaker metal. Note that this example has flush steel rivets. 

The individual handcuffs appear to be the same production run as the ones on the combination.
