Grab bag mix catch up
Above, a mint condition set of Bean Cobb leg irons. These were listed for $249.99 or best offer with one key.
Above, a very nice pair of Hiatt Darby Handcuffs, but this pair is certainly distinct from some other examples. The key, for one, and also the design/shape of the cuffs here look a bit different. These were listed at $135 or best offer.
Above, a nice set of Massenotte French Handcuffs with a normal chain. These sold for $65 with no key.
Above, a pair of Harvard Lock Company Handcuffs. These are the matching set to the Harvard Lock Company leg irons, which actually seem to be more common, whereas most of the time, leg irons are much more rare than the corresponding handcuffs. These sold for $42 after 3 bids with one key. These have a nice compact swivel, and double lock via the keyway. They are a basic but solid ratcheting swing through design that is often found as New Old Stock.
Above, these are actually very rare Cummings Handcuffs. The auction had one photo and doesn't appear to have a key. They were listed for $150 or best offer and an offer was accepted. Note the spurs on either side of the base of the cuffs. These were intended to allow the cuff to be held open in one hand and then closed quickly around the prisoners wrist with one smooth motion with one hand.
