Tuff Kuffs

This is a high tech hybrid handcuff design which was only produced for a short time. 

This pair sold for $1,226 after 63 bids with the original box, keys, and paperwork.

As described in the instructions, these handcuffs have a unique one way ratchet in the center of the pivoting hinge. This allows the cuffs to be positioned as standard hinged handcuffs or to be rotated into an opposing position holding the wrists more rigidly like a stacked position.
