Palmers Handcuffs
These were listed on Facebook collection group for $535 I believe and they have sold now. They came with both original keys.
Above, close up detail of the "female" portion of the connection mechanism. Note the locking tab at the top of the inner circumference.
Below, close up detail of the "male" portion which fits inside the aperture above and is locked by the tab interfacing with the thin area seen below.
These are very very rare and unique handcuffs. The multi part folding shackle is more like "medieval" style than anything else.
These restraints were made in multiple sizes and can be configured differently depending on use. The example here shows a close connection which would only allow rotation in relation to the opposite cuff. There are also chain attachments which can be used to connect the cuffs together, although that may be for the leg irons only? I've never seen these in person and they are very rare.
