Lucky! AHC A-105 and L-100, cheap! More AHC

This is one of the more rare designs by American Handcuff Company. These lightweight, modern aluminum handcuffs have steel internals and a distinctive color contrast with black anodized chain and rivets.

This pair was listed for $35 or best offer and quickly sold. For reference, I paid $100 for a pair of these in 2019. If the seller had visited my page they might have realized these are collectable and worth more than $35 to the right buyer.

Above, note the contrast between the silver cuffs and the black detail. These are very nice handcuffs, even for the wearer, as they have the distinct soft radiused edges of the American Handcuff Company and are very lightweight.

Above, a pair of the less rare but still highly desired AHC leg irons. The fact that the seller took the photos with the irons laying on a dirty floor mat is telling enough that they didn't realize the value of these.

They were listed at $50 or best offer.

These are in good condition and would polish up really well. For reference I paid $100 for a pair of these in new condition in 2019.

This is the AHC N-200 which is an oversized handcuff and/or short chain leg iron. This is a pretty rare find which was listed at $39.99 or best offer.

Below, the distinctive cursive makers mark stamp and light to moderate normal usage wear. I think many sellers don't realize these are collectable because they are so similar to modern production examples from Smith and Wesson. I paid $79.99 for my N-200 in 2024.

Below, an A-105 which is missing it's key posts. The seller states this is a factory incomplete. The key seen here is early Peerless style which is also used by a more recent production run of low-tier handcuffs from overseas. The bottom of the key helps locate the key within the keyway. However it relies on an appropriate aperture on the reverse of the keyhole for the key tip to locate in. I'm unsure why this key is being included with these cuffs as it seems a normal key would work as long as it were aligned properly.

For reference I paid $100 for my A-105 in 2019.
Below, note the missing key post. These sold for $99 after 1 bid.

Below, a complete example of the A-105 with the original key. These sold for $149.00 after one bid.

Below, a set of two A-105 handcuffs which sold for $152.50 after 17 bids. $76.25 per pair.

Below, a pair currently for sale at $130 with non original key.
