Several Bean Design examples
Above, this duo sold for $256 after 16 bids. We've got a Towers Bean pattern, and a Bean Prison or Patrolman each with a key.
Above, note the patented lock activating button, (knurled and recessed) as well as the rotating keyhole which must line up with the notch in the non rotating part. This entire circular lock case can be removed for repair or replacement, by removing a screw from the outer circumference of the hole which houses the lock body. This can only be done when the cuff is unlocked. I have repaired a set of Bean Cobb Handcuffs this way and they work great now.
The Towers Bean Pattern is essentially a Bean Cobb with a non removable lock which uses a double bitted barrel key vs the flat, fluted double bit key of the Bean Cobb. Of these two the Bean Prison or Patrolman is much more rare.
Below, the classic Bean Cobb. This set sold with an original key for $179 or best offer and an offer was accepted.
