RCS Plug 8 Handcuffs x2

This is a very restrictive precursor to the Irish 8 design produced by Reuben Craddock and Sons. 

One end of the key operates an internal locking bolt and the other end secures the small dust cap/tamper preventing plug. 

This pair sold for $268 after 38 bids. Clearly significant interest here.

Above, another RCS Plug 8 in the heavyweight or Boer War pattern. This is a heavy, solid, very restrictive restraint, even compared to the example above.
